Practise Mindfulness NEW

Gain a grounding in mindfulness or refresh your practice

Why practise mindfulness?

Mindfulness and meditation practices help us live a fuller and happier life, by being fully focused on the present moment, not absorbed in regrets, plans, worries or other thoughts. When we practise mindfulness we create more stillness which allows us to see more clearly what brings us happiness and what causes suffering. With this awareness, we can make positive choices in everyday life.

Mindfulness is rooted in Buddhist meditation, with effects verified by neuroscience, and as such is open to non-Buddhists and Buddhists alike.

Mindfulness Courses

We invite you to join this course and experience guided practices, small group discussions and practical exercises. Available online over six weeks, on a weekend retreat and in person (Covid restrictions permitting), our courses are a flexible way to learn to live with more depth and freedom.

We are currently offering the following courses:

Be Calm Be Happy

Mindfulness course bringing simple and concrete ways to generate energy and wellbeing and release the stresses and strains of daily life. In the 6 sessions you will learn how to meditate effortlessly, so you can ease painful thoughts and emotions; you will also be encouraged to use mindfulness practices to bring joy into your daily life. We are working towards better representative diversity and inclusion in our courses, which are informed by a diversity of course facilitators’ lived experiences and particularly those of the group.

Note that all our courses operate on a Not for Profit basis. Any surplus remaining when all costs have been met is returned to the Charity to support our work in promoting the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh in the UK.
