SUMMARY:Sangha Sailing on the Norfolk Broads
DESCRIPTION:Sangha Friends – Murray and Thor are inviting you to the Sangha Sailing Holiday from July 5th – 12th. \nWe have booked three Hunters 4 berth boats to sail on the northern rivers of the Norfolk Broads (see huntersyard.co.uk for details of the boats). We shall be living and sleeping on the boats in shared cabins. Previous sailing holidays have been very enjoyable and a natural route into mindfulness. \nEach boat will have an experienced skipper\, so if you have not sailed for a while or don’t have sailing experience that is not a problem! \nPlease email sanghasailing@plumvillage.uk for more details about what to expect and please do check with us any questions you may have. \nBooking\nWe have a few places remaining for this summer’s sailing and you can secure your place by sending a deposit of £80. The full cost is expected to be £350 and the remaining amount will be payable in the spring.\nPlease email sanghasailing@plumvillage.uk to book your place and for details of how to make payment. \nYou need to be aware that if you come on this holiday\, you do so at your own risk. The Norfolk Broads are relatively safe as a sailing venue. Lifejackets are provided with the boats and you are encouraged to wear a lifejacket when on deck. We will have third party insurance for the boats. \n  \n\n

SUMMARY:Mindful Morning - Mindful Consumption
DESCRIPTION:This month facilitated by Gideon Thomas \nOn the first Sunday of every month\, we offer a Morning of Mindfulness led by UK Lay Dharma Teachers\, Members of the Order of Interbeing\, Monastic Dharma Teachers and special guests. \nThe morning will typically include a guided meditation\, followed by a talk or panel. After a short break\, there will be an opportunity for Dharma sharing in groups. \n\n\nGideon Thomas (Joyful Healing Of The Source) is an active member of the White Clouds Sangha in Bristol\, as well as providing admin and organizational help for Mindful Mornings. Taking inspiration from a wide range of Buddhist and Daoist teachings\, he especially enjoys being supported and held by the sangha. His aspirations are to give back to the sangha that which it provides for him – love\, care and a space to just ‘be’. \nMain image by Maria Baltazzi on Unsplash
