As we navigate new uncertainties and changes to our life styles feelings of fear and anxiety may arise. Our mindfulness practice can support us at this time. Now, perhaps more than ever, it is powerful to practice together – despite our physical separation. This day allows us to come together as a UK Sangha to nurture our togetherness and our love and understanding for ourselves and others.
During this day we have the chance to:
- Experience practices to support us to relax and calm our body and mind
- Hear relevant teachings
- Enjoy dharma sharing with others
- Feel the support and togetherness of our UK-wide sangha
This day is facilitated by a group of UK Dharma Teachers.
There will be the opportunity to offer dana for this day which will be given to our monastic brothers and sisters in Plum Village who are currently in need of our financial support. Under the restrictions of the ‘lock down’ they can no longer offer retreats and go on tour to share the dharma. There are many monastics to take care of but without the normally available income this is proving difficult.
