We are happy to offer a second Ceremony to Support the Sick, as the first was much appreciated by many. Sister Annabel has kindly agreed to join us from Plum Village, France, to lead the Ceremony.
This Ceremony is a beautiful opportunity to bring to mind those suffering from sickness around the world at this time – known and unknown – and to send them our energy of love, peace, and joy.
We invite you to enjoy this Ceremony online with us. The Ceremony includes many of the formal aspects of Plum Village ceremonies; beginning with silent sitting, an incense offering and touching the earth. After this, we can enjoy listening to relevant readings and many beautiful chants. We suggest that you might like to light a candle and some incense during the incense offering part of the Ceremony.
The Ceremony takes around 50 minutes and will be finished by 10 am. We will enjoy a short break and then gather in sharing groups from 10.15 am until 10.45 am, followed by announcements, and close by 11 am.
All are welcome. Please join us at 9 am on Saturday 8th January.
