Ceremony To Support The Sick

We are happy to offer a second Ceremony to Support the Sick, as the first was very appreciated by many and the Dharma Teachers were kindly asked to offer more Ceremonies.

This Ceremony is a wonderful opportunity to bring to mind those who are suffering with sickness around the world at this time – known and unknown – and to send our energy of love, peace and joy to them.

We invite you to join us to enjoy this ceremony online with us. The ceremony includes many of the formal aspects of Plum Village ceremonies – it starts with silent sitting, an incense offering and touching the earth. After this we can enjoy listening to relevant readings and chants, including the Lotus of the Wonderful Dharma. You might like to have some incense or a candle to light in your own home at the ‘incense offering’ part of the Ceremony so that we can be joined together in the light and fragrance during the Ceremony.

The Ceremony takes around 50 minutes and will be finished by 11am. The Ceremony is being offered by a group of committed practitioners from our Community who are drawn to serve the whole Sangha, including Order Members Gary and Alex, Wake Up members Priyanka and Kasia and Dharma Teachers Teri and Vari.

This Ceremony is open to all. It will be held via the Zoom app. Please download the app from www.zoom.us or the app store on your phone or tablet. The app is free.
