This day of mindfulness offers an opportunity to come back to the present moment and acknowledge our feelings about our precious planet and the climate crisis. By learning to stop and take care of ourselves we can become more resilient and effective in our actions. We will enjoy deepening our experience of interconnectedness with Mother Earth through sitting, walking, and eating meditation.
This teaching and practice is given in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh by experienced Dharma Teacher Vari McLuskie. We are inspired by the practice of Engaged Buddhism, which combines spirituality and social action, pioneered by Thich Nhat Hanh.
“If we understand the Earth as a living, breathing organism, we can heal ourselves and heal the Earth as well” -Thich Nhat Hanh.
