Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in joining a course at a later date.
When: Thursdays January 27th – February 17th
Time: 6 – 7:45pm
Where: Online- We will be using Zoom (If you need any support using Zoom do email us)
The group will include:
– content and study to reflect on our white identities, history and bias.
– practices to help reflect on our racial identity and the world around us
– plenty of space to be in sharing together
We have all been deeply hurt by the way our past and present society has categorised, separated, and limited us based on the illusion of ‘race’. As we support one another to experience our own relationship to this and deepen our understanding through compassionate listening and loving speech, we begin to embrace and transform the ancestral suffering within us and around us, and take steps on the path to inclusive sanghas where all people can find a home.
Who is it for: Anyone within the sangha who identifies/ has been socialised as white.
For an intimate and small group experience, and as numbers are limited we will confirm your place by email.
Please do invite anyone in your sangha circles who you believe might be interested.
Time commitment: We ask everyone to come with the intention to join all of the group sessions, if this is not possible please let us know in the form below. A short talk or reading will be shared with you to engage with in-between sessions.
Have any questions or just want to chat it through?
– we are also happy to chat on the phone so do let us know if you would like to arrange a phone call
